Hi, Just wanted to give my feedback on this.
I've got DVDs playing just fine on my Gutsy setup, without installing gxine, libdvdplay0, or libdvdnav4. I installed libdvdread, and executed the "sudo /usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/install-css.sh" command.
