Binary package hint: ubiquity

I partitioned the USB HDD (scdb) and assigned each partition to its
appropriate mounting point. When proceding, the application informed me
it would reformat the sda4 partition, which was already the 'swap'
partition - on the wrong device. I had already asked it to make a swap
partition on sdb4. But what's the harm in reformating a swap partition?
So I continue and it says there is an error because '/' is not assigned.
It seems that has to do with the confusion of the two hard drives.

I thought maybe if I make slightly different changes (like selecting the
reformat checkbox for sdb4 [swap]) and confirm I am following the
programs instructions, then the program might install to scdb. It did
not work, and after some time I recieved an error message containing
this:
