Binary package hint: evolution
Evolution 2.12.1 (gutsy) does not properly complete the mailto fields in
the ensuing composer window.
let me provide an example as an explantion.
Our spam filtering system sends us reports when spam is trapped by the
filter. The reports are in the form of HTML mail that contains links
for retrieving false positives.
The links are in the form of
<a href="Mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Command&body=[cmd]Retrieve Message
Request, [EMAIL PROTECTED], MSG2ocfd.TXT, 080304, text[cmd]" title="Blocked
Reasons: text"><span class="RetrieveIcon">R</span></a>
Evolution 2.12.1, which is the current version for Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy)
opens an email composer window properly addressed, with the subject as
specified, but the body portion of the link is not inserted in the
email.
Evolution 2.6 which is the current version provided with Suse 10.1
(Novell SLED) (as well as Thunderbird and Outlook) treat the link as
designed, that is, it is properly addressed, with the subject AND the
body filled in.
I hope I have provided a clearer explanation this time.
