I can confirm after last nights upgrade to Hardy Alpha 6 this is still an issue. Edit> Preferences> System closes. Sometimes the application does not imediately close. Sometimes the application displays the Preferences menu but changes can not be made and the menu eventually closes along with the application. I am now receiving an error that the system crashed and a notification stating if i would like to report the error. This crashes whether there is a CD in the bay or not. This is occurring on a Fujitsu laptop.
