As requested in bug 199044 I'm reopening this bug to note that the
problem isn't fixed in the Desktop CD of Hardy Heron Alpha5.

** Description changed:
- Ubuntu 7.10 Beta, AMD 64, on a 20" Aluminum iMac. There is no sound from
- Totem or Rhythmbox, although they otherwise seem to be working
- correctly. There is no sound at all, so I suspect that this is a more
- fundamental problem.
+ Hardy Heron Alpha 5, i386, on a 20" Aluminum iMac. There is no sound.
