I have the same problem when trying to run WoW on my 64 bit computer (which I run through aoss). I think there are two problems here:
* '/usr/$LIB/libaoss.so' should really read '/usr/lib/libaoss.so' This appears to be a typo in the shell script * But even once I fix the shell script to read as: LD_PRELOAD="/usr/lib/libaoss.so.0.0.0" exec "$@" I still get a similar error "ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/lib/libaoss.so.0.0.0' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored." Oddly enough my sound and mic in WoW work regardless. -- ERROR: ld.so: object '/usr/$LIB/libaoss.so' from LD_PRELOAD cannot be preloaded: ignored https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
