The "real tjw-client" also did this. I switched to the trem-servers one because I got an error: "A reliable command cycled out" so I did a google search and that client prevented it. I tried doing an strace but eventually the log file got 500MB in size and I still had no crash. I'll try to pipe out the output and use the client from your link. Will get back later...
