Yes, 4 programs got deleted(uninstalled, then deleted, yes) in Alpha3, I did get a message, though about it for a minute, and tried it anyway. I did not document removed packages at that time. Yes, you have it right, I did a fresh install, and don't have same installation log. So you can close this bug for me with Alpha 3, but Alpha 4, has some of the some issues; (but go ahead and close this for me in Alpha 4), which I posted in comment 10. I am going to dist-upgrade to Alpha 5 as soon as it's ready today, or when ever, and will re-open this bug, or file new, if I notice any problems with this issue. Thanks.
