Tuomas, did you bu any chance install Virtualbox-ose latelly? I did, and that one pulls in the 386 kernel (due to Bug #188579) ... I removed it again, but looks like something damaged the firmware... I now reinstalled the linux modules, image and headers and it looks like the firmware errors is gone....(at least nothing in my logfile until now....)
