Sorry for my hasty response. I found how to install it... This is now for alpha6, the problem persists. I also discovered the following:
If enabling motion blur, the starting it (default ctrl+F12) it has the same symptom. However, disabling the plugin will cause the system to regain speed and it might therefore seem like my graphics card is lacking acceleration for whatever blur uses.
