I fixed this problem in my laptop using technique from "limited to
UDMA/33 due to 40-wire cable", http://pixca.net/2008/02/03/limited-to-
udma33-due-to-40-wire-cable/. For those of you who are using Gusty, I
have create a deb file for my patch.

Usage:
sudo dpkg -i --force-overwrite libata-80wire_2.6.22-14.52_i386.deb

** Attachment added: "libata-80wire_2.6.22-14.52_i386.deb"
   http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12531789/libata-80wire_2.6.22-14.52_i386.deb
