AZ, I installed it but I'm afraid it did the same thing as the old
version.  When I target the window boarder, the app (Evolution in this
case but I also tried just a Nautilus file window) goes away and a weird
icon shows up in the menu bar (never seen it before, looks like a
generic app window).  When I left click on the icon nothing happens, and
when I right click and select close it goes away, shutting down the app
and disabling compiz (something I noticed before).  I have to go back to
the Appearance applet to turn effects back on.  If I try to boot up with
the startup script as suggested on the older version of Alltray, the app
never starts - you can't tell it is even set to start.

For now I've reinstalled the stock Gutsy version and disabled effects.
Having Evolution in the tray all the time is more important to me than
the effects, though I would like to have a choice.  Alltray is one of
those apps that is not big and bold, but you really get used to having
it around ;)  I'll be happy to try another version, or try to debug if
you tell me what you need.
