Possibly same problem here. When I click "Open Volume Control": 1st error: The volume control did not find any elements and/or devices to control. This means either that you don't have the right GStreamer plugins installed, or that you don't have a sound card configured. You can remove the volume control from the panel by right-clicking the speaker icon on the panel and selecting "Remove From Panel" from the menu. 2nd error: No volume control GStreamer plugins and/or devices found. With the 2.6.24-11 kernel 'everything' works fine. Feel free to ask if I can provide you with further information. ** Attachment added: "lspci -vvnn.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12548872/lspci%20-vvnn.txt -- [Hardy] No sound since the 2.6.24-12.19 kernel version https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/200529 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
