Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-accessibility-themes
Hi! I am not sure the package I indicate is the right one. I work with 8.04 beta on a VAIO VGN-SZ3XP/C, Core 2 duo T7200. DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu DISTRIB_RELEASE=8.04 DISTRIB_CODENAME=hardy DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu hardy (development branch)" kernet version 2.6.24-12-generic I cannot set anymore the typing speed in Keybord Preference -> Accessibility as it was possible in Gutsy. This was a workaround for the problem of my "bad typing" which caused the cursor to get back in the window where I was typing (such as OpenOffic Writer!) or even switching suddenly to anoter window. Now the same problems appear with Hardy but I cannot set a higher typing speed /char/sec) as a workaround. Probably the subject of the report is misleading: I would like that the cursor doesn't jump around in my window or in another window or in a menu in response to my typing keys "simultaneously": setting the Keybord to be prepared for a very high typing speed was a workaround!
