Many of you have encountered 'slow keys'. This is a feature and not a bug. An easy way to tell if it is slow keys, open up a text editor and hold down a letter key. If the letter does show up, after a few seconds, then follow the procedure below to disable slow keys.
Kmenu --> System Settings --> Accessibility Click the Keyboard filters tab Uncheck the 'slow keys' box Click apply.
