Sorry to bother you. It may be no more than my misapprehension of correct 
operation (perhaps especially the relation of program settings to file 
settings), but my preference would be that vertically merged cells, which serve 
as left-column category headings and sub-headings remain together (not break 
across page boundaries). I have found that I can merge cells vertically if I 
allow cells to break across boundaries.
introOTHebrew.odt_0.odt, which crashes each time I open it, and started doing 
so when I merged cells vertically which happened to span page boundaries.
