me too an applet is called, FF offers to download Java plugin, I choose sun jre 6, that gets installed, I reload FF, but applet does not work reboot, applet still does not work, FF offers again to download Java plugin, I choose sun jre 6, but FF says it is installed hint (?) : when I clic on the dektop "system > preferences > sun java 6 Plugin control panel" nothing happens
