I have some things to add. First of all, it is the tx1000z series, and that includes all sorts of tx1100, tx1200, and tx1300 series laptops/tablets.
Secondly, I can't seem to find a license or copyright notice or anything for the driver. I hope it is public domain, but I am pretty sure that package does not include the sources for everything, such as the graphical utility. There is the xserver-xorg-input-evtouch driver, but from what I understand it doesn't work very well at all. 3rdly, I would bet that the driver isn't working because hardy uses X.org 7.3. They don't explain in the driver documentation what is the latest version of X.org it supports, it merely says that one part of the driver is for X.org 6.9 and later. -- egalax touchscreeen driver do not work in hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198911 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
