I saw another Bug 109256 which mentioned that the oo-welcome.odt grew in
size between 6.10 and 7.04 and after looking at it uses Nimbus Roman No9
L as the main font. After changing it to Times New Roman (using non-free
fonts) it went back to the size it should be (2 pages instead of 3). So
did Nimbus Roman No9 L change metrics (or whatever?) since Ubuntu 6.10?
Unless something weird is happening in OpenOffice it would seem that
would be the most likely cause of both issues.
