Actually why is a beta browser included in Hardy at all? Firefox 3 won't be final when Hardy ships and every Firefox release announcement has a bold notice that it is a testing release and isn't designed for all users. A user can always make the decision to use the betas of Firefox 3 at any point during testing, yet once Hardy goes final users will loose the right to opt-in to the Firefox 3 beta process. There will still be changes between beta and gold versions of Firefox 3 and many addons will not be updated to work with Firefox 3 yet. Ubuntu users may tend to be techy-types, but there are too many changes in Fx3 to push it on people while it's still being worked on.
