Dear Matthias, thank you for contacting me. It is nice to see that the Ubuntu team takes bugs seriously. At some moment I was so disappointed with too many bugs that I thought about switching to Fedora. Then I installed Ubuntu from scratch instead of an upgrade and it works all right :)

I would suggest to add to your error messages that may appear during the installation an information on whether the installation will continue after the bug report has been submitted.
