Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: policykit

Always when the system policy dialog appear authentication fails. This
happens for instance when for instance trying to mount external drives
or adding users. When I try to change anything in "Authorizations" then
I get the same system policy dialog and I cannot authenticate there
either. I should think that there has to be some possibility for the
main user of the system to do these kind of things. It is truly annoying
and should be fixed.

I'm using a fully updated (as of 15th March) Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron
Alpha 6.

** Affects: policykit (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
