Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Hi The behavior witch is buggy for me, is the following : when trying to add a graphic to illustrate the simulation of an exponential low [y=(-1/lambda)log(1-u)] where u is a list of numbers comming from the uniform low (here in frenc calc version called "alea" --> rnd ? in the english version ?) 1) It is impossible (for me and so for many one ) to draw a beautiful curve to represent all points. --> Why can't we have a simple interface : datas for u, datas for y and draw. 2) the points are not sorted. Where is the option to sort them ? I can't directly sort the datas because "alea" refresh anytime you change a cell in the sheet. so drawing a curve in open office is not possible..... for me. any one else ? 3) working around : do a special copy of the numbers (u datas and y datas) then do a sort, gosh !! it is to complicated and the graphic looks horrible the points are to bigs ** Affects: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - calc 2.3.0 + Drawing curve in calc is not easy. ** Description changed: Binary package hint: openoffice.org Hi The behavior witch is buggy for me, is the following : when trying to add a graphic to illustrate the simulation of an exponential low [y=(-1/lambda)log(1-u)] where u is a list of numbers comming from the uniform low (here in frenc calc version called "alea" --> rnd ? in the english version ?) 1) It is impossible (for me and so for many one ) to draw a beautiful curve to represent all points. --> Why can't we have a simple interface : datas for u, datas for y and draw. - 2) we can't sort the datas because "alea" refresh anytime you change a - cell in the sheet. + 2) the points are not sorted.
