Binary package hint: totem
I am an ubuntu user for about a year and never faced a problem like this
one. Today I downloaded Ubuntu 7.10 from ubuntu.com and installed it on
my laptop. At first, totem was able to play sound & video files without
a problem. But after installing apache, nessus, putty, filezilla,
kwallet no media file worked.
I thought the possibility that totem crashed for some reason every time
I try to play a video or a song so I installed vlc but didn't work
either. So, I decided to uninstall totem-gstream and re-installed it.
The problem still occurred so I installed totem-xine instead. That
didn't work either and every time I try to play a video or a song totem
crashes and won't play any media file.
I really have no idea what caused this.
