Binary package hint: dtc
For DTC to install in Gutsy or Hardy (currently 0.25.3-2ubuntu1), the
following line needs to be edited:
/usr/share/dtc/admin/install/functions.php:
# copy ldconfig from sbin to $conf_chroot_path/sbin
if ! [ $UNIX_TYPE"" = "osx" ] ; then
cp -pf /sbin/ldconfig* sbin/ # used to be 'cp -pf /sbin/ldconfig.real
sbin/'
fi
That asterisk (*) was .real before and made the install in Ubuntu fail.
According to this post: http://forums.gplhost.com/phpBB2/image-
vp4081.html#4081, the developers have fixed it upstream, so please
either update DTC or create a patch for this problem...
