Public bug reported: Binary package hint: linux-source-2.6.22
On a Toshiba Tecra M9 with Intel iwl4965 wireless, the computer will not hibernate if the radio kill switch on the front of the computer is switched to off. Nothing happens at all, except the following is added to the system logs several times: WARNING: Requesting MAC access during RFKILL wakes up NIC No attempt to shut anything down is apparent. If the kill switch is on (i.e., wireless active), then hibernate works correctly. This on an updated Gutsy system. ** Affects: linux-source-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Can't hibernate with radio kill switch in off position https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/202936 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
