I've been having this problem since upgrading to hardy alpha about a month ago. Some additional observations:
- it happens in any terminal (konsole, gnome-terminal, xfce-terminal) - sometimes, when it scrolls, it fails to stop and prompt on whether to proceed with the upgrade .. it just goes ahead and does it.
