Confirmed for an Install from Alpha6 Hardy, having an RV280 (9200 SE) AGP card in my desktop. Needed to boot and install in Safe mode, uses 'vesa' drivers.
If I change via Administration/Screens and Graphics to "ati" and click "Test" the monitor switches off and nothing else works. The same happens if I test "radeon".
