linux-ubuntu-modules-2.6.24-12-generic is already the newest version.
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.

How could I be missing those modules?

I marked the modules for reinstallation, but the results are still the same.
sudo modprobe -r snd_hda_intel
FATAL: Module snd_hda_intel not found.

Are you certain these modules are included in these packages?
