Public bug reported:
After the latest updates, my GNOME desktop gets unresponsive after working for
a while. Menus appear with lag, applications launch with a lag, rhythmbox
starts to crash. The desktop becomes unusable. If I switch to TTY, restart GDM
and relogin the desktop becomes smooth again.
This wasn't an issue before yesterdays updates.
