Hello, I have the same problem with an amd64 socket 939. The motherboard is an asrock dual vista.
The message is "[17.330722] ACPI: getting cpuindex for acpiid 0x2. When I start boot with -acpi=off, the problem is still the same but the error message doesn't appear.
