Yes. Also, when you are asked to select the keyboard layout and the language, you also have a very long list of choices, but in both cases you have a scroll bar to let you find quickly what you need. So using the same arrangment for the time zine would solve the usability issue, as well as make things consistent accross ubiquity. And consistency being itself an important aspect of usability... we win twice ;-)
