b43-fwcutter has been installed through aptitude. the "Hardware driver"
wizard doesn't say any proprietary drivers are in use, nor does it offer
to install any.

NetworkManager: <info> Activation (wlan0_rename): waiting for device to cancel

is another thing it says while the other networkmanager is in its segv loop.
It uses 100% cpu and attempts to switch back to the wired network with the
applet fail, unless I kill -9 NetworkManagers and restart.
