Sebastian Bacher : It does not matter if you start gdmsetup the first time Hardy is booted, but it will always happen the first time gdmsetup is launched in Hardy. This is not reproducible inside the LiveCD for me. I reproduced this behavior today in Hardy beta 1, cleanly installed in VirtualBox.
Error appears in terminal, hard drive is spining, gdmsetup takes around 5 minutes to open, top chrono. This time, rebooting and/or opening gdmsetup multiple times does not fix anything. Updating Hardy with all latest updates does not fix the issue either. Removing ~/.gtk-bookmarks did not change anything too.
