The terminal supplied by update-manager(if I'm right) is too small to start 
debconf. This leaves xorg uncofigured and causes dpkg to return an error. 
JayMan, you can solve this probably by typing 'sudo dpkg-reconfigure 
xserver-xorg' in a maximized terminal or console. This will give you the 
possibility to configure xserver-xorg, which still needs to be done. If you 
don't know what option to choose, use the default option, the one that is 
already selected.
