Confirming this on Dell Inspiron 1520, Broadcom wireless with Hardy and all updates to date (2008-03-23). When attempting to connect to a WPA wireless network for the first time (and possibly subsequent times - not tested), it prompts for shared key, after key is entered, NetworkManager hangs with 100% CPU, nm-applet spins forever (or at least 6 minutes). Downgrading to network-manager_0.6.6-0ubuntu1_i386.deb fixes this problem. network-manager_0.6.6-0ubuntu1_i386.deb is available from: http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=4564509&postcount=8 Perhaps bug #4564509 is a duplicate of this bug? -- Hardy - network-manager_0.6.6-0ubuntu2 cannot connect to wireless acces point https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/205025 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
