After a little research I found that a "sysctl dev.wifi0.ledpin" showed "0". Did a "sudo sysctl -w dev.wifi0.ledpin=1", and the led flashed gladly on wireless network traffic.
A "sudo nano /etc/sysctl.conf" and inserting a new line with "dev.wifi0.ledpin = 1" makes it work after a reboot too. Can anyone confirm that it works on Hardy and other laptops with buildin Atheros Wifi and native Madwifi drivers ?. ** Also affects: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.24 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- atheros laptop LED not activated https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/63618 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
