Stavros-- You may know this already, but in case you don't: you can load the module at startup by adding it to: /etc/modules
As for mounting at boot, you must add an entry to your /etc/fstab This should include the filesystem and read/write permissions. Hope it helps! Can you confirm that it is indeed RAID5?
