Hmmm... My log is slightly different, though I experience the same thing. (The blank screen and inability to use ctrl+alt+del to reboot)
Attached is the two log files combined into one file. Use find(or ctrl+w in nano) and search for "-rt kernel" or "2.)" to get to the second log(or the end of the first). For me, it appears to load the driver, but for whatever reason it doesn't display anything...
