Public bug reported: At the new time-applet under clock of gnome, if I add "thessaloniki" as a location, it sets the timezone to "Europe/Skopje" which is not correct!
For those who don't know where is thessaloniki here is the link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thessaloniki. Thessaloniki is a greek city and has the same timezone as all the cities in greece, while Europe/Skopje is not the same... The misunderstanding may come from the "makedonia" under the name of Thessaloniki in the list of locations. Macedonia is called a north subregion of greece which includes Thessaloniki and has nothing to do with the country called "former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" with capital city "Skopje". ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [Hardy]"Thessaloniki" city has wrong time zone https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/206669 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
