Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org2

I have verified this bug on two different machines so here it goes:

If you write a paragraph using a normal font and in the middle of the
paragraph you want to italicize some words and try to do cntrl + i (or
select it from the top) it won't let you do it. The only way that I
could figure out how to do it was to write the entire paragraph using
the regular font and then to highlight the words that you want to change
and then do cntrl + i (or bold or underline). It's a weird bug just
because it refuses to switch if the previous font was not in the format
you currently want.

One other point is that in new paragraphs there is no problem starting
with cntrl + i and having italicized throughout.

Thanks for the hard work everyone.
