Made new installation today, now with Ubuntu Studio 8.04 beta. Only thing left from previous installation was the home directory. RE- INSTALLATION MADE ABSOLUTELY NO DIFFERENCE!!! Still no sound in any applications. Only available sound is the test sound for "ICE1712 multi" in "system > preferences > sound". I have amd64 btw.
