& no dual boot has no effect in fact i have Ubuntu, Fedora8, & WindowsXP have tried Fedora core 8 i guess you can customize it to be almost like Ubuntu this one works out of the box by the way I am installing ubuntu from the DVD and not the cd i wounder if that makes any differecnce.
