Same problem. I'm connecting by just typing into the address bar. Connecting with "ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/directory", "sftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/directory", "ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/directory" or "smb://ip/directory" (with or without a specified directory) all give me the first listing of files and folders for wherever, and then when i try to open a file or a folder nothing happens and after waiting about 30 seconds i get:
"Couldn't display 'ftp://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/directory'. Error: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken. Please select another viewer and try again." Regardless of the title of this bug, it doesn't matter if it's a local server or internet. Essentially the whole of the virtual filesystem setup in nautilus is completely broken (barring the first listing) for me/us. This is an upgrade to Hardy from Gutsy on 32 bit machine. Compiz etc is going on (shrug). Nothing particularly special about the network, and this server is perfectly accessible through gftp or ssh/scp with no problems on this machine, and was perfectly usable pre-hardy. -- gvfs Issue with LAN https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207219 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
