Set default browser and email client in preferences as requested. Could not duplicate bug in either Ubuntu 7:10 or Kubuntu 7:10. Used Firefox (2.0.0.12 Ubuntu, 2.0.0.13 Kubuntu) and Thunderbird (2.0.0.12 both systems) as preferred apps.
