Hello Chris, I am really sorry, but I can't attach the example due to my customer's IP matters.
Now a kind complaint: - It seems to me that OO developers didn't care about sending the application through a complete set of test cases before releasing it (hence, they didn't think about testing). The package works sufficiently well for, kind of, *children* stuff, while it fails when it comes to deal with *power users'* stuff. - If the idea is to make people think that avoiding MS Office it's feasible, then OOffice should provide with features and usability of, at least, MS Office 2000 (namely: the continuos view mode + selecting a row just pointing it + ctrl_shift_c & ctrl_shift_v for copying and pasting formats + ...) Cordially, Omar.- p.s. sorry for the complaint; I am more than willing to switch to Ubuntu + all the rest, but so far everything seems to me ready tu use at most at 90% On Thu, 2008-03-27 at 17:59 +0000, Chris Cheney wrote: > Please attach an example document that exhibits this problem. > > Thanks, > > Chris Cheney > > ** Changed in: openoffice.org (Ubuntu) > Status: New => Incomplete > -- OOwriter it's not able to open a MS Office 2000/ word file https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/207646 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
