Hi Henrik, I'd need to see your Xorg.0.log (as we always do with X bugs) - in particular I don't know what driver you're using.
If you are using -intel, then XAA has been deprecated in favor of EXA, so it would definitely be worthwhile to make sure whatever is causing the crash gets fixed. If you're using any other driver, then while we prefer EXA in those cases, using XAA is probably okay. In any case, what we need with "random crashes" in order to start troubleshooting is a good backtrace (see http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingXorg). I'd suggest we not milestone this bug until we have a backtrace in hand, but it's your call. -- gdm_slave_xioerror_handler error in ubuntu hardy heron Alpha 6 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/201466 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
