OK, about that playlist being pupulated. the original amarok.desktop file uses
Exec=amarok %U Which will populate the playlist I created a new amarok-player.desktop and gave it the proper mime type. It showed up in Nautilus and I selected it. I used Exec=amarok and still the playlist got populated man amarok does not give much info about arguments. -- could be considered as a flag signifying the end of the options, but does not work. I ended up using Exec=amarok --blah this makes amarok start with whatever default argument passed to the blah option. As this option does not exist, nothing happens. amarok starts and no playlist gets loaded from the media device. If that can help... -- .desktop file missing x-content/audio-player mime type https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/208197 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
