I can't provide these informations right now since I'm not on the Kubuntu machine, however I remember that it was a fully updated Kubuntu 6.06 with the Ark version from the official repositories at the moment I reported the bug. No backports to KDE or other newer packages, just the Ubuntu repositories, updated with "sudo apt-get update" and "sudo apt- get upgrade".
