Sorry for not being clear.

sudo apt-get remove libbluetooth2

Command also removes the packages listed:
  bluez-audio bluez-cups bluez-gnome bluez-utils evolution evolution-exchange
  evolution-plugins gnome-pilot gnome-pilot-conduits gvfs-backends 
libbluetooth2 libpisock9
  libpisync1 nautilus nautilus-cd-burner nautilus-sendto obex-data-server totem
  totem-plugins ubuntu-desktop

This happened to be me on a fresh Ubuntu 8.04 beta install yesterday.
